The Artists Behind Clara’s Journey
What happens when a beloved classic steps into a whole new world?
In Nuts and Crackers, community dancers will work alongside Creative Director Beth Fecteau, talented local artists, and visiting choreographers from New York City to create something unexpected. Together, they’ll explore the space where tradition meets innovation—blending the beauty and familiarity of the classical with fresh music, contemporary movement, and new ways of telling Clara’s story.
Our dancers won’t simply learn choreography—they’ll be part of the creative process. They’ll collaborate with different choreographic voices, experience new approaches to music and movement, and discover how a familiar story can be transformed through fresh eyes.
It’s classical. It’s contemporary. It’s nostalgic. It’s new.
And it’s Clara’s next chapter.
